The only thing constant in life is change. The past few months of my life have proven that once again. We moved into our newly built house in November. December was a month of sickness and holiday fun. January started 2024 off with more sickness and then my baby girl turned 5. February turned into layoffs for my job—thankfully I was spared and still have my job, but I had to say goodbye to people I worked with for years.

An integration of two companies was promised to be a happy occasion, but it caused the end of a company I worked in for over 14 years-really my entire career. It’s another closing of a chapter. And as always, it’s been hard.
