So we have managed to keep 6 chicks alive…they are alive and growing. We’re going to have to get them in something bigger as they are starting to want to be up higher and are hopping/flying around. It’s fun to see them growing and thriving–they even bicker sometimes like sisters.

Our coop stuff has arrived as well-still in boxes. Hopefully this weekend we’ll get to it and be able to start putting that all together. It’s a shed we’ll modify for them so they’ll have ample space and we can add as we wish. Apparently there is a thing as chicken math that they just multiply over night! We shall see as I haven’t quite enjoyed losing 6 or losing access to my office!

Our neighbors are also building a HUGE Barn and it just doesn’t seem right. We think it is a riding ring, but it just is an eyesore right now. I know it’s their land, but it just doesn’t make it feel as peaceful as it used to.
